Adult Learning Instructors – Progression Studies
£18.81 per hour.
Variable hours, daytime and evening posts- Eastbourne, Lewes and Newhaven college sites and in the community in Sussex.
The Engagement and community department offers short, unaccredited courses for adults which aim to improve wellbeing, increase family learning opportunities, re-engage people in learning and prepare them for employment, as well as evening adult leisure courses.
We are looking for instructors with expertise in engaging adults who may be experiencing mental health difficulties or who have not been in learning for a long time, to plan and deliver high quality short courses both on college sites and in the community. We are particularly interested to hear from you if you specialise in cookery, IT, Art, group fitness/exercise (including Yoga and Pilates) or personal development/wellbeing. We are also looking for instructors to deliver introductory courses for entry into the following employment areas; Customer Service, Administration, Health and Social Care and School Support Staff. We are also seeking an instructor to teach French to adult evening students. Courses are delivered across the county therefore applicants will need to be able to travel.
These posts are subject to a DBS check.
