Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a passionate and driven teacher to support a primary school in a year 5 job-share.

Tradewind are working with a good graded two-form entry junior school in Hemel Hempstead. The Deputy head will be covering 2 days per week and they require an experienced teacher to cover the other 3 days.

The school is a Junior school so cater for years 3 to 6 only. They are a hard-working small school with a skilled and committed staff who go the extra mile to support children in their care. The team are warm and welcoming and the teachers all committed to providing safe, stimulating and exciting learning environments.

This role would suit an experienced teacher that could work alongside the Deputy Head who is also highly experienced. Being a job share you will need to be a person that can work well in team to produce the best possible outcome.

The role will involve planning for the year 5 curriculum, the core subjects have already been planned for so this will be minimal and PPA time will be allocated within the 3 days too.

The school is based in Hemel Hempstead which is a large market town with excellent transport links, a large shopping centre, plenty of greenery and restaurant, bars, gym etc all on hand.

Salary expectation for this 3 day role with be between 24,782 to 34,934 pro-rata.

The essentials
Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
