The Station Hotel, Birstwith is a lovely food led pub with 5 guest bedrooms and a beautiful beer garden located just 6 miles from Harrogate.
We are looking to recruit a Head Chef to lead our hard working, friendly and dedicated team.
Joining an experienced Senior Sous, CdP, Commis Chef and several KP's you will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen management including menu planning, costing and gross profit margins, maintaining food hygiene standards and rota planning.
As Head chef you will use all fresh produce to deliver modern British and classic cuisine with a twist to one Rosette standard. The opportunity to develop your own ideas and menus will be positively encouraged.
Your own transport is essential.
Ideally you will :
•have previous experience of working at Rosette level as a Head Chef,
•have worked in a busy kitchen and thrive under pressure,
•have experience and desire to work with fresh, quality food
•have ambition to continually drive the business forward,
•be an excellent team player,
•have good knowledge of hygiene and health and safety,
•be able to work to budgets,
•be able to generate creative and interesting menus.
