Learner Services Assistant
About the role:
The purpose of this role is to supervise the provision of effective and responsive administration support to Heads of Services across college.
With the support of the Central Administrative Assistants act as the first point of contact for all external enquiries, responding directly to enquiries with a high degree of initiative and ensure timely response to all queries. You will also be responsible for monitoring, reviewing, recommending and implementing effective procedures.
This role will be starting September 2018.
- You will be educated to degree level, management or supervisory qualification with the experience in the use of Virtual Learning Environments (Moodle).You will have experience of working within Higher Education administration, ability and confidence to identify and implement new systems to support administrative efficiency. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people.
- You will also possess good organisational skills and high attention to detail with excellent administrative and IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
