This commercial façade of the business is vital to our ongoing success, and as such, the work of the Customer Division is absolutely essential. When you join this team, you will be central to our mission to put the customer at the heart of every decision and to generate commercial revenue for UKHO.

Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the ADMIRALTY Maritime Data Solutions channel and Print on Demand (POD) service, you will represent these facilities across UKHO as a whole.

Specifically, you will ensure all stakeholders and partners are meeting their contractual obligations by designing and maintaining key governance procedures and processes, thereby supporting our global route to market.

As our subject mater expert, you will also be entrusted with maintaining channel agreements, using your governance processes to take action in relation to non-compliance, and overseeing any termination processes as appropriate.

This is a very social role, so we will expect you to have fantastic spoken English and written communication skills. With confident presenting and IT capabilities, you will be unflappable in the face of pressure and you will have the ability to juggle multiple projects.

Crucially, you will have customer management experience in a B2B role, with a proven track-record of delivering a quality service. With the tact and diplomacy to allow for the impact of cultural differences in a business environment, you will be a motivated and dynamic self-starter, ideally with some international affairs knowledge. Crucially, you will also be results driven.

If you also have experience or knowledge in one of the following areas, that would be beneficial but isn’t strictly necessary: knowledge of UKHO products, services and systems; knowledge of SOLAS Chapter 5 regulations; experience of B2B distributor management; experience of contract management; navigational experience, or experience of using CRM.
