Procurement Manager (Transformation / DDaT) 

HMLR is a successful, high-performing, innovative organisation. Location: Croydon, London, CR0 2AQ; Nottingham, East Midlands, NG1 7AU; Plymouth, South West, PL6 5WS 
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: Flexible working, Full Time or Part Time min 30 Hours per week 
Salary: £31,227 (£34,412 Croydon)

About the role: 

We have two positions available in our Commercial Group working within Transformation or Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Categories. 

You will be part of a wider Commercial and Procurement Group that aspires to always deliver expert, professional commercial advice and support to our organisation. You’ll be involved in a range of sourcing, large-scale procurement, contract management, supplier management and commercial activities to support the Transformation plans, as well as ensuring we achieve great outcomes and value for money. 

Our work is varied, and this role brings the opportunity to influence organisation, policy and customer service changes and improvements via new and replacement contracts. You will identify the most appropriate routes to market to meet needs, including early market engagement with suppliers. You’ll also support members of our team in helping colleagues across HMLR build their commercial knowledge, capability and experience. 

About you: 

We are looking for someone who has excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and can demonstrate experience of working in a commercial environment. You will also have experience of managing supplier contracts and extracting maximum value from them. You will also be able to develop effective relationships with key stakeholders along and deliver results by proactive, positive and persuasive means. 

You will have a business or business-related degree or equivalent experience. Ideally you will have a Professional Qualification in Purchasing & Supply - CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), however if you don’t we will support you in gaining this. The role will involve regular travel to other HM Land Registry locations and external supplier meetings will be required. 

You may have experience of the following: Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Contract Manager, Portfolio Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Specialist, Category Manager, Buyer, Project Manager, etc.
