Corporate/Private Equity Real Estate Lawyer - Senior Level – Big 4
Senior level role in law firm arm of global professional services firm for corporate real estate lawyer.
“Attack of the bean-counters” is how The Economist has described the Big Four’s advance into legal services over the last few years. Whilst not quite lining up an assault on the London legal market (their aim, by and large, is not to compete with law firms) their rise has been noted and their plans to grow over the coming years are ambitious . Working with existing business lines in their current model, the firms are looking to offer a combined, more efficient one stop shop to clients. And herein lays the opportunity: the real estate team at this leading global professional services giant combines front office deal originators and structures together with its tied law firm lawyers. The teams, which also incorporate fund and tax specialists, are fully integrated and physically sit together providing truly holistic real estate solutions for a host of clients. Not commoditised, standardised and automated work, but top work, with the deal makers. They are now in need of specialist corporate real estate experience to support their top tier real estate fund clients.
It is no secret that the organisation is dramatically expanding both its law firm, real estate and corporate capacity and they are therefore looking for a senior-level lawyer, to whom it offers demonstrable progression prospects, and one of the strongest brands in the business world. The role would be a key part of the relationship management with key clients, and you would have significant autonomy to grow your practice, and lead challenging, high-profile projects.
It’s likely that you will have between 8 and 10 years’ PQE, but those outside this will happily be considered if relevant experience can be demonstrated.
