Assessor in Carpentry & Joinery
Salary up to £29,503 per annum pro rata (includes market forces of £4,000 per annum)
Variable hours available up to full-time (35 hours per week)
This is an exciting opportunity for a vocationally competent and qualified Assessor to undertake assessment for Level 1, 2 and 3 students in the occupational area of Carpentry and Joinery.
You will be required to recruit, train, assess, and guide learners on apprenticeships and employer engagement programmes, working alongside the employer to support the learner throughout their qualification.
You should have relevant, up-to-date industry expertise and have a relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent, along with an assessor award and Level 2 or equivalent in Maths and English. The ideal candidate would also possess a level 2 qualification in Maintenance Operations or equivalent experience.
Due to the nature of this role, a driving licence with access to a vehicle or other method of transport is essential in order to travel to students’ workplaces. If using your own vehicle, it is a requirement for your car insurance to cover business use and evidence of this will be requested by finance before any travel claims are paid.
