About the role
The primary purpose of this role is the supervision of Electrical operatives responsible for planned electrical work across all areas of the business. Liaising with the Qualifying Supervisor and ensuring that registration to the competent person’s scheme is maintained. The role must ensure that all work is delivered within specification and on time, and to the appropriate regulatory and industry standards. The role will include the planning and surveying of a range of electrical works and review of operatives performance.
To be responsible for assisting the Electrical Manager in delivering all cyclical programmes to profile and within budgets, relevant to the Electrical department, taking action when variances occur.
The successful candidate will hold Qualifications in one of more M&E trades, City and Guilds 2330 NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent),City and Guilds 2381 IEE Wiring Regulations.
Experience of carrying out Periodic Test and Inspection of commercial and domestic properties to BS7671:2008
Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
Confident user of IT and Microsoft products
You will need to be a flexible worker, able to keep to time constraints. Work well as part of a team and as a lone worker. Well driven and committed.
Willing and able to take part in out of hour’s standby rota.
The successful candidate must hold a full driving licence
Must also be willing and able to to meet face fit requirements.
