3D Recruit are looking for an experienced Assistant Team Manager (Qualified Social Worker) to join a Mental Health Team based in Reading, Berkshire. Pay is £35 - £38ph
About the role:
A highly experienced Social Worker/Manager, with experience in mental health, is required to assist with the supervision and performance management in the Mental Health Social Care Team.
The Team is newly formed, having separated from the Health Team, and is establishing Social Care management and supervision. The post is for at least 6 months, pending review of the management across adult social care.
This position requires someone with experience of supervision and performance management, and will work alongside the Lead AMHP. This would be suitable for someone with experience of team management, assistant team management, or substantial experience in a Senior Social Work role with proven ability to implement change.
The role involves embedding robust application of the Care Act in the team, supervision of practice and ensuring performance measures are met, including monitoring of outputs and turnover of work.
Leadership and Management in relation to Reading Borough Council processes and procedures will be supported by an existing manager of an established Adult Social Care team.
- 4 years post qualifying experience
- Qualified Social Worker BA/DipSW/CQSW or equivalent
- Current registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Pay rate: up to £38ph
