An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person to join the Engineering team. We are seeking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated individual to become a Technician within a busy Engineering workshop. Working as part of a professional team, you will be expected to assist staff and learners in workshop sessions and to support the practical element of their learning. You will be familiar with, or have experience of, managing and carrying out maintenance routines, manual machining techniques, welding equipment and be able to manage stock control, including ordering consumables items and supplies. Experience of carrying out and managing risk assessments is essential for this role.
The successful applicant will hold a minimum Level 2 qualification and will be familiar with commonly used software packages e.g. Microsoft Office.
