City College Norwich are looking for an aspirational individual to support in the delivery of a project to build the number of high quality, structured and outcome focused industry placements (approx. 350 hours) with employers. With the implementation of the first T levels planned for 2020 and industry placements being a compulsory part of the new T level package, we are looking to build capacity and establish strong links with employers which will increase significantly over the coming year. These placements will provide students on technical and vocational study programmes with a high-quality experience that maximises their chances of stepping into skilled employment following their education.

The College is looking for a high achieving individual to support in the delivery of the project by supporting and coordinating College industry placement experts from a variety of sectors whilst ensuring that all sourced placements meet the principles as prescribed by the Education and Skills Funding Agency.

The successful individual will have responsibility for several project processes including the central tracking of employer engagement, the arrangement and tracking of employer health and safety visits, placement review visits and employer references following final review meetings. As well as this, there will be a requirement to liaise with a variety of stakeholders internally to develop and build student tracking systems, and externally with other colleagues from the New Anglian Colleges Group for example to devise relevant paperwork and processes.

If you have a successful track record of supporting and delivering key outcomes for projects, experience of strong employer liaison, ability to work on your own initiative and believe you can make an instance and positive impact in the delivery of this project, then this is the role for you.
