Skills and Employability Tutor (Childcare and Health & Social Care)

18.5 hours per week

Location: Worksop

£10,068.50 pro-rata per annum

The RNN Group is recruiting Skills and Employability Tutors to lead the development and growth and raise the profile of work readiness, work experience and industry placements within curriculum areas for our students. We are looking for someone who has a passion for the vocational industry area with a view to becoming an advocate and expert understanding the skills agenda. You will be subject specific qualified and/or have substantial experience within the vocational field.

You will plan, promote and deliver employer aware, employer experience and employer ready activities for all learners. You will set high student aspirations, develop their work skills and prepare them for their future within their chosen field. This will be done by seeking and developing effective relationships with businesses to ensure meaningful employer involvement across all programmes.

You will be responsible for setting targets with learners and employers and tracking learner progress to promote positive outcomes. You will positively embrace change and equally understand the challenges faced within the Further Education sector. You will be a highly motivated team player, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and management to achieve strategic and organisational objectives
