Lecturer in Games Design Part Time (0.4 FTE)

Work Location – Suffolk New College on the Coast, Leiston, Suffolk

Salary within the range of £23,667 to £35,811 per annum pro rata.

14 hours per week (up to 9 teaching hours and 5 preparation and other duties).

We are seeking a professional with expertise in Games Design, including games development and concept, to teach on all courses from level 2 to level 4 in Creative Media Production area. This role will involve teaching across a breadth of practical and theoretical units. An ability to teach a wide range of design-centric games design skills, including Games Design, Games Design Theory, Level Design and Programming, as well as a working knowledge of the Unity 3D software is essential.

You should have a Degree in a related area (or equivalent professional qualification) and a teaching qualification or a commitment to obtaining one within a specified time after commencement.
