Advice Service Administrator (part-time)
Duties and Responsibilities The post-holder will provide high quality administrative support to the Advice team. To manage reception and provide a high standard of customer service to students and colleagues. Some of the duties and responsibilities are: respond to enquiries from students, UCL and Union colleagues in a friendly, effective and efficient manner; assess enquiries from students and decide on the most appropriate route; arrange appointments for Advisers and manage Advisers calendars; take personal information in a sensitive manner and in accordance with the service rules around confidentiality and data protection; identify policy and campaign issues affecting students using the service and work with the Advice & Advocacy Manager to raise awareness of the issues. This is a part-time role for 30 hours per week. Key Requirements The post-holder will have a GCSE’s Math’s and English or equivalent experience; experience of office administration; experience of delivering a reception service in an advice service or similar setting; experience of working with clients in crisis; experience of working in a team, excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent customer service skills.
