LECTURER/CO-ORDINATOR – APPRENTICESHIPS MATHS & ENGLISH
An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Maths & English department to deliver Functional Skills to Apprenticeships.
The Maths & English department is committed to supporting all of its learners to significantly improve their numeracy and literacy skills as well as achieve their best possible outcome.
The co-ordinator will be supporting Apprentices to successfully achieve Functional Skills Maths and English qualifications which are essential to the Apprenticeship framework as well as upskill to ensure that all learners are ready to compete in the workplace.
This is an ideal role if you are an enthusiastic, experienced and innovative lecturer who has the drive and determination to achieve outstanding results for learners.
You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills as well as have a proven track record of high quality teaching.
This post is challenging, demanding and highly rewarding as you will be enabling young people to succeed and progress at College and have greater job opportunities in the future.
Applicants should have a relevant degree (or equivalent|), a teaching qualification, post-qualification experience and a learner-centred approach to teaching and learning.
This post is subject to a DBS check.
