Learning Coach in Childcare, Health, Social Care and Sciences. Part Time (18.5 hours). Term Time Only (40 weeks per year).Permanent.

The Learning Coach is an exciting role within the College. You will take responsibility for a caseload of learners aged between 16 and 18 within the curriculum area of Childcare, Health, Social Care and Sciences and support them in becoming independent learners through the development of their study skills and preparing them to progress to positive destinations.

You will have the ability to approach difficult issues in a calm and responsible manner and be able to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of individual learners.

You will be educated to Level 2 minimum in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE grade 4 or above or equivalent). You will also have a Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent. Experience of working in either Childcare, Health and Social Care or Sciences would be advantageous as would the knowledge of providing information, advice and guidance to young people.
