St Brendan’s Catholic Sixth Form College is situated in the south of Bristol in an exceptional modern campus setting. Access Arrangements Co-ordinator, 35 hours a week, Permanent, Term Time Only
The aim of the Learning Development Team is to promote our students’ independence by working with them to adopt strategies and develop skills to enable them to access enrichment opportunities and engage fully in academic study. The Access Arrangements Co-ordinator will work closely with the Head of Learning Development to ensure that appropriate exam access arrangements for public and internal examinations are in place for students with additional needs and that it is compliant with exam board and JCQ regulations.
The ideal candidate for will have several years’ previous experience of working with young people (14-19), including those with additional needs, in an educational environment with specific experience of arranging access to examinations and the testing of students seeking exam concessions.
Salary will be on the Sixth Form Colleges’ pay-spine for Support Staff, Grade E, currently £21,133 - £23,170 pa pro rata. Actual salary £16,733.10 to £18,346.00 per annum
