Lecturer in Electrical Installation
The School of Engineering is looking for a full time Lecturer who can use their industry knowledge to help our budding electricians excel in the workshop and classroom.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced individual to join our Electrical Installation team.
Knowledge of the industry and a willingness to impart your experiences to prepare our students for the world of work is essential. As is the ability to recognise opportunities within the classroom or workshop, to support the development of English and Maths. The successful candidate will be teaching students on full-time and part-time courses at Levels 1-3.
In addition, you may need to assess students in their place of work as part of their NVQ.
As well as the relevant skills, we are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for helping people of all ages and abilities to achieve their potential.
The right individual needs to be flexible in their approach and willing to maintain an up-to-date understanding of developments within the electrical industry, including legislation.
If you have teaching experience, great, but if you are willing to complete teacher training and are already experienced in electrical installation we would love to hear from you too.
This role is based at our industry specific facility in Kings Langley with an initial start date at the end of September 2018.
