Applications are invited for the new post of Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (neaco) Further Education College Coordinator. The post-holder will be responsible for managing relationships with the eight Further Education (FE) Colleges who are part of the network.

This post is part of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP), an Office for Students funded project which aims to increase the number of young people from low participation neighbourhoods entering higher education by 2020. As part of this national project, the University of Cambridge is acting as the lead for a consortium of Universities and Further Education Colleges across East Anglia (Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough). The post holder will work closely with all eight FE college partners across East Anglia to help them engage effectively with the neaco programme; support them in the delivery of their Project Plans; support their financial reporting and data collection; and provide assurance to the University of Cambridge (as lead partner) that activity delivered is in line with guidance. They will coordinate, facilitate and deliver induction, training and networking activities for staff employed by the FE Colleges.

Applicants should have experience of working in an FE College or experience working closely with FE Colleges. The successful candidate will have a detailed knowledge of the structure and systems of UK FE Colleges, an understanding of the issues that affect access to higher education from underrepresented and disadvantaged students, and outstanding communication skills.
