Lecturer in Digital Media Production
The School of Performance, Music and Media is looking for a highly motivated lecturer specialising in Digital Media Production to join their successful team.
You should have experience of video production, plus a thorough understanding of media theory (textual analysis, media audiences, ownership and control of the modern British Media industry).
Due to the nature of the courses to be taught, it is important that the successful candidate has a thorough understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience of personal tutoring including target setting and delivery are also desirable. You should also be committed to providing prompt, detailed assessment of learner work.
Ideally you will hold a current teaching qualification but mentoring and training will be available for those who haven’t. You should also hold qualifications in your own discipline and have clear evidence of continued professional development.
The successful candidate will teach across multiple levels and courses within the Media Department.
The closing date for applications is Friday 21 September 2018.
The successful candidate will join the Performance, Music and Media team, reporting to Head of School, David Gordon.
