Position: Office Administrator 
Location: Brighton, South East England 
Job type: Part Time, Permanent 
Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.30am to 2.30pm. 
Salary: £18,000 per annum 

About the role: 

It’s an exciting time here at Vero, due to continued growth we are recruiting for an Office Administrator with a confident, sunny disposition to join our team on a permanent, to work on a part time, 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.30am to 2.30pm. 

This is a varied role working with the Senior Management team to ensure smooth running of our fun and vibrant office. You will be responsible for all aspects of general office administration, from answering the door and welcoming clients to liaising with office and facilities providers. 

Responsibilities: 

- Incoming post management – open, scanning and distribution as appropriate 
- Visitor management – meeting and greeting, issuing security passes, signposting to relevant department 
- Managing facilities mailbox, responding to and resolving facilities queries 
- Liaising with landlord on building issues, coordinating general repairs and maintenance, arranging quotes and ensuring work is carried out, once approved 
- Ordering consumables ensuring adequate supply of refreshments, weekly fruit delivery, stationary and other supplies as and when required 
- Coordinating office recycling and confidential waste disposal 
- Coordinating meeting room bookings, setting up rooms, ordering refreshments and lunches where required 
- Arranging travel bookings, organising flights / trains / hotels 
- Tracking and monitoring office administration and facilities budgets accordingly 

About you: 

- Minimum of 2 year’s previous experience in a similar role 
- Outstanding communication skills including excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal) 
- Have a pro-active can-do attitude, with the ability use your own initiative and hit the ground running 
- Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively 
- Drive, passion and enthusiasm to deliver excellent service to a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally. 
- A good standard of keyboard and computer skills is essential, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. 
- High degree of confidentiality and professionalism, strong attention to detail and data management.
