Position: Autism and Positive Behaviour Support Lead
Location: Whiteley, Hampshire
Job type: Full Time or Part time, Permanent
Salary: £28-£35k per annum subject to experience

About the role:

Your duties will be varied, and no two days will be the same and will use the improvement of quality of life as both an outcome and as an intervention. Our services operate 24 / 7, so at times you will be expected to work flexibly to be available in the services.

The people we support are at the heart of everything we do and are treated with respect, dignity and choice. Our main priority, therefore, is to find an experienced Autism / PBS Lead with values, practice and attitudes to match our own.


For this position, you will need to be an experienced lead of services supporting adults on the autism spectrum who may have learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. You will also be fully trained / qualified in Positive Behaviour Support.

About you:

We are seeking a competent passionate Autism and PBS lead. Applicants must be qualified in both and have the energy and passion to lead the organisation into practise excellence. The post holder must have a flexible approach, be adaptable to work across A.H and other organisations to support autism knowledge and training, transitions and PBS.

For this position, you will need to be an experienced lead of services supporting adults on the autism spectrum who may have learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. You will also be fully trained / qualified in Positive Behaviour Support.

Only applicants with an accredited Autism qualification, PBS training and level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent (or prepared to work towards) will be considered for this role.
