Communications and Website Coordinator
Job description Job summary
The Department seeks to appoint a Communications and Website Co-ordinator to develop and implement the strategy for the Department in the management of communications, specifically focusing on developing content for scientific communications, promotion of Departmental achievements and initiatives, marketing of courses and leading the design, development and impact of the Departmental webpages. You will develop and edit content for the development of the website, lead in the design, layout and impact in developing and updating the website and act as editorial support to the scientific groups and research centres web presence.
Duties and responsibilities
The post will manage complex and often scientific web content for sizeable groups/sections, across a variety of digital outputs. Excellent writing and editing skills are required, together with the ability to create and improve digital communications across Departments.
The post-holder should hold a degree or equivalent. You will have experience of web content management; excellent written and verbal communications; high degree of IT self-sufficiency.
This is a full time, open ended post.
