Part-time Programme Officers
We currently have opportunities for part-time Programme Officers at our Guy’s, Waterloo and Strand Campuses:
The first role, working as part of our Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, and based at Guy’s Campus, London Bridge, is 21 hours per week and requires the postholder to be present Tuesday to Thursday.
The second role is 28 hours per week and is based in our Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine Education Support Service based at Denmark Hill with some time at our Waterloo campus and will require the post holder to be present on Fridays with some flexibility in how the remaining hours are structured.
The third role, at 21 hours per week, is a job share partner for a Programme Officer role to work across the Languages & Literatures Cluster in the Faculty of Arts & Humanities, working with the departments of Comparative Literature, English, French, German and Spanish, Portuguese & Latin American Studies. The job is based at the Strand Campus and requires the postholder to be present from Wednesday to Friday.
As a Programme Officer, you will be on the front-line of service delivery, supporting students and academics. Programme Officers are the first point of contact for face-to-face queries, on the phone or via electronic media, and are responsible for undertaking core activities essential to the delivery of services underpinning the student lifecycle. With knowledge of regulations and processes and an eye for accuracy and detail, the Programme Officer plays an essential role in ensuring that the whole of student lifecycle activities are experienced by students and staff in a seamless and effective manner.
