Lecturer in Business (0.5 FTE)

Up to £35,811 per annum pro rata. Up to 17.5 hours per week

This is an exciting and diverse opportunity for a Business professional to combine your skills in business, management, marketing and finance with the aim of raising student achievement and promoting a positive student experience.

You will be required to deliver high quality teaching to support the development of our students and enhance the employability skills of young people seeking a career in business. Alongside the teaching of BTEC Business, this post may also include some teaching for 19+ students undertaking part time qualifications to enhance their career opportunities, along with delivering off the job training for apprentices. This post may also include some teaching at more than one site.

You may already be teaching, or looking to move into teaching, and should therefore have up-to-date industry expertise, a good standard of education including Level 2 maths and English, and a relevant Level 3 business qualification. You should also have a teaching qualification or a commitment to achieving one within a specified time period.

Suffolk New College can provide relevant teacher training to those individuals who can demonstrate the potential to become effective teachers.
