Personalised Provision Tutor
18.5 hours per week, 36 weeks per year.
These posts will provide 1:1 and small group tutoring to identified ‘high need’ students with a range of learning difficulties and/or disabilities that are not yet ready to access mainstream provision. These students will be on an individualised programme geared towards transition into mainstream or transition out of college.
Candidates will need to have an excellent understanding of the support needs of students with extreme anxiety and personal barriers to learning and the different learning styles and strategies they might use.
Applicants will be educated to A Level standard with a minimum of 5 GCSEs A-C (including Maths & English), Certificate in Education/PGCE and ideally a specialist qualification in supporting students with ALN.
