Senior Key Worker
We are seeking a Senior Key Worker for our new Alternative Education Provision. The Senior Key Worker will work directly with young people with complex behavioural needs, SEND, mental health, social and/ or emotional needs to manage a team of Key Workers. In this role you will provide individual support with life skills, education and needs based sessions that encourage young people to harness their potential and ultimately transition to mainstream education or training. We want to hear from you if you have experience in this area and have a positive attitude around change and challenge and are committed to finding the best solution for families, regardless of the barriers. Key Qualifications Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English A relevant degree qualification A Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning Diploma (L2 or above) An Information, Advice and Guidance qualification Essential Background and Experience Significant experience in working with vulnerable young people with SENS /SEMH People management experience Practical knowledge and experience of relevant legislation relating to young people in education and safeguarding Ability to deliver classroom-based sessions Creative approach to problem solving Good attention to detail and accuracy If you meet the criteria then we welcome your application.
