Lecturer in Construction - Part time (0.6 Full Time Equivalent)

School of Construction, Engineering & Automotive

Work Location – Suffolk New College on the Coast, Leiston, Suffolk

Salary within the range of £23,667 to £35,811 per annum pro rata

21 hours per week (up to 14 teaching hours and 7 preparation and other duties)

This is an exciting opportunity to teach across a range of construction related subjects. The role includes delivery and assessment of theoretical and practical sessions to students aged 16 – 19+. Subjects include brickwork, plastering, tiling, carpentry, and painting and decorating from Level 1 to Level 3.

To apply, you should have relevant, up-to-date industry expertise and a Level 3 qualification in construction or related discipline. You should also have a teaching qualification and assessor award, or a commitment to achieving both of these qualifications within a specified period. Providing you are the right candidate for the role, we can provide you with an excellent level of support to guide you through your training and development to achieve these qualifications. You should also have maths and English at level 2 or equivalent.
