Work Related Curriculum Advisor

Fixed-term to July 2019

£22,864 to £24,884 per annum

Ref: OP/07

As one of the largest sixth form colleges in London (more than 2,500 students), we are a non-selective, diverse and secular college, proud to have launched 50,000 young people onto university, training and employment since we were founded in 1992. Rated by Ofsted as ‘good’ in all areas in 2015, our results for A-levels and vocational study are impressive - a massive 90% of applicants progressed to university in 2016.

The college combines great facilities with quality teaching and high standards, including a new multi-million pound building, providing state-of-the-art technology enabled learning resource centre, drama studio and cafe.

We are looking for a target driven and accomplished professional Work Related Curriculum Advisor who can build on successful current practice within the work-related curriculum team. The ideal candidate will deliver information, advice and guidance to our students who are part of the NewVIc professional programme. You will also support them to access specific matched industry placements as well as the BTEC courses work experience, within the industries of Engineering, Construction and Computer Science.

The role is currently fixed-term to July 2019, but maybe extended depending on funding.

Please see attached job description and person specification for more information on this vacancy.

Please note that we do not accept CVs.

Previous applicants in the last 6 months need not apply.

Closing date: 12 noon on Monday 15 October 2018
