Key Worker (Alternative Education Provision)
We are developing a new Alternative Education Provision and are seeking Key Workers to join our team. You will be working with young people with complex behavioural needs, SEND, Mental Health, Social and/or other emotional needs. In this role you will be providing individual support with life skills, education and needs based sessions that encourage young people to harness their potentionall and ultimately transition into mainstream education. Essential qualifications Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English Relevant Level 3 qualification (A Level equivalent) Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning Diploma (L2) Information Advice and Guidance qualification Background and Experience Significant experience in working with vulnerable young people with SEND/SEMH Excellent problem soliving ability working with young people Confidence and ability to be assertive with young people and external agencies Safeguarding knowledge and experience This role is a term time role 37 hours a week over 40 weeks per year.
