We are seeking to recruit and develop a conscientious individual to join our busy finance department based in Solihull. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a FE College with a turnover of over £43m and a reputation for outstanding financial management. The ideal candidate will have completed their AAT Level 4, relevant finance degree or ACCA/CIMA equivalent and be ready to progress their ACCA Applied Skills or CIMA Operational level. This post holder will be fully supported in their progression of either of these qualifications via a Higher Level 7 apprenticeship applicable to all ages.

The post holder will a pivotal role in the day to day function of the management accounts team and will be working with a number of experienced colleagues to receive excellent on the job training and gain an excellent breadth of knowledge and experience in the FE sector.

The post holder will have proven experience in a management accounts role and have excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and a keen interest to work closely with the department’s finance systems.

Excellent communication skills and an ambition to progress will be key to building effective relationships within the wider organisation.
