Lecturer Science – Hertford Regional College – Broxbourne Campus – £27,910-£35,030 per annum including market allowance dependent on experience and qualifications

We require a full time Lecturer to help deliver our 16-18 full time provision in the Applied Science programme. A successful candidate will deliver the full range of professional services associated with Science programmes of teaching, learning, assessment and student support.

We are seeking enthusiastic qualified lecturers, or with demonstrable capability to become qualified, with experience of teaching Science – GCSE/BTEC – to 16-18 year olds. Preferably you will hold a full teaching qualification, ideally have a degree in the subject, have personal tutor experience and be a flexible team player with excellent organisational skills.

Successful candidates will have a background in Physics and it would be advantageous to have an understanding of the new BTEC curriculum that was introduced in September 2016. Whilst not essential, we would be looking for applicants to have an IV/IQA qualification.

Possessing the relevant licence to be able to drive a minibus would be beneficial, please see the job description for criteria.
