Vocational Tutor (Media)
As one of the largest sixth form colleges in London (more than 2,500 students), we are a non-selective, diverse and secular college, proud to have launched 50,000 young people onto university, training and employment since we were founded in 1992. Rated by Ofsted as ‘good’ in all areas in 2015, our results for A-levels and vocational study are impressive - a massive 90% of applicants progressed to university in 2016.
The college combines great facilities with quality teaching and high standards, including a new multi-million pound building, providing state-of-the-art technology enabled learning resource centre, drama studio and cafe.
The college wishes to recruit a 0.8 fte tutor for the media department, initially fixed term to July 2019, to focus on students on vocational programmes. NewVIc aims to provide an outstanding service to students through a strong tutorial system which is consistently delivered. We have an excellent reputation for student support.
An interest or any previous experience in film, photography or design would be desirable but not essential.
