I am seeking an English Teacher to carry out a full-time contract in a specialist school in the Romsey area which caters for boys aged 9-18 years with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH).

The school are quoted by Ofsted as saying "young people make outstanding progress in their emotional, social and physical well-being. They are learning positive strategies which enable them to manage and self-regulate their behaviour, anxieties and emotions.

They are looking for a teacher who is able to deliver English to GCSE level. You will be required to carry out engaging and create lessons to inspire students with SEMH.

As you will be teaching pupils with SEMH, this position would be suited to someone with experience of teaching in a similar setting, although not essential.

This position is open to both primary and secondary trained teachers but MUST be able to deliver English to GCSE level.

You MUST:

Be a UK Trained teacher or possess QTS.Have recent secondary teaching experience in the UK.
Have experience of working with pupils with SEMH Be an English Teacher, able to deliver up to GCSE levelBe available full-time after October half termBe able to show strong behaviour and classroom management skills.

You will be required to undertake a DBS and ideally be able to show two recent good or outstanding observations.
