One of Nonstop's clients in the Middlesbrough area are looking for a locum Social Worker to join their growing Duty and Assessment team.

Your Role:

This is a locum opportunity, paid on a generous rate, for a Social Worker who is looking to contribute to a dynamic and established team and help improve the lives of the Children and Families in the area.


There is flexibility to discuss condensed working weeks and home working. This will allow you to fit this position around your personal life.

All of the social workers hired will be paid on the Senior Social worker rate. This will mean working with an experienced team who can get the job done, making your life easier. It's also an opportunity for people at the start of there locum careers to gain Senior Social Worker status.

With the case loads reducing, this is also an opportunity to really be able to focus on the cases that you do have and gain a better work life balance.

Case load:

The authority has an established senior management and a core of permanent social workers. They have funding to help expand their team, to help bring the case load down below the national average. With their high influx in intake of social workers, you'll be able to focus on your own cases and do best by the children and their families.


  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant Degree
