Residential Night Support Worker - Temporary to Permanent - £8.05 per hour - Birmingham - 39 hour contract

Your new company
This organisation provides a service for adults with multiple needs, with the large part of the service provider's experience forming around supporting individuals with both learning disabilities and mental health needs. They are currently recruiting for night Support Workers to join their ever expanding team within their residential home based just south of Birmingham town centre where their role is to support vulnerable individuals with a mix of learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.

Your new role
As a Support Worker, you will be required to work as part of a team in ensuring the continuity of quality care and support to the residence on a 24 hour basis. This includes both within the residential setting but also as residents are very active, there is also opportunities to support individuals in the community. You will also need to commit to learning the skills that enable the people you will be supporting to control their own lives.

What you'll need to succeed
Due to the nature of the service, past experience in working in a similar environment is essential, this will be supported with a full training regime provide by the organisation. Holding a minimum of an NVQ level 2 in health and social care is also desirable however not essential. The opportunity to work longer hours meaning 3 to 4 working days a week only.
