This is an exciting opportunity to lead, develop, shape and close deals with the biggest clients out there, at one of the most innovative start-ups in Blockchain space. Responsibilities include generating an enterprise client pipeline, representing the company at industry events, managing client relationships from origination through to contract completion.
The company is uniquely positioned in the very fast growing blockchain industry and is looking for an ambitious, experienced, talented individual to help us deliver on this potential.
The role will involve helping enterprises to understand and appreciate it, and how blockchain technology will impact their industry, and advise them on the best approach for their organisation. Some technical understanding of blockchain, and enterprise IT architecture in general, as well as enterprise IT implementation processes, will be of great value. The right individual will be confident when entering a boardroom setting and skilled at leading and supporting complex, sometimes technical conversations with ease. The individual must be able to ask specific, yet articulate questions to understand the underlying client requirements, and reflect back in order to get alignment, commitments, and layout next steps. The individual must have high levels of emotional intelligence, be intellectually curious, always professional, dynamic in conversation, charismatic, and persuasive. We also expect the individual to complete successful project handovers to our delivery team and maintain the client relationship through the delivery phase.
Applied Blockchain is an innovative blockchain applications development start-up, focusing on distributed ledger technology and smart contracts. We have an expert team of blockchain developers that have been building cutting-edge solutions for disruptive startups and corporate clients in banking and finance, e-payments, energy trading, aviation, telecommunications and social impact sectors. We are building a new generation of decentralised applications, working through some of the most interesting problems in this field such as identity management, transaction privacy and anonymity, encryption and data security.

*Key Responsibilities:*
*Identify potential enterprise markets, generate pipeline opportunities to supplement inbound qualified leads.
Shape, structure and manage all sales negotiations (complex and straight-forward), open and close enterprise SaaS deals.
*Manage the sales cycle and present Applied Blockchain products and services at a consistently high level and standard.
*Manage senior client/prospect relationships with the highest levels of satisfaction, offering value-added, insightful and strategic solutions to maximise return in their business.
*Implement a consistent methodology for winning new business and particular key target clients.
*Utilising the technical team during the sales cycle to ensure deep knowledge and expertise is delivered.
*Monitor post-sale and on boarding stages, provide an effective handover of the client to the technical Professional team as well as all necessary internal stakeholders.
*Become a subject matter expert in blockchain technologies, and stay up to date with industry knowledge and technologies.

*Requirements & Skills:*
*Minimum 3 years demonstrated performance in sales of enterprise software and solution delivery.
*Minimum 3 years experience and a successful track record selling new business and products in emerging technology markets.
*Minimum 3 years experience selling to clients direct of a senior level, and experience selling to C-Level executives.
*Minimum 3 years experience software consulting sales experience for enterprises.
*Ability to qualify leads and counterparties rigorously.
*Proven outstanding track record in meeting and exceeding goals and sales targets.
*Experience of managing complex sales cycles.
*Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders across all areas of the business.
*Technically minded, with experience with selling the technical solution, in tech or IT environment.
*Strong relationship building skills, highly target driven, and able to work in a complex and changing situations.
*Naturally hard-working and inquisitive, with a passion and drive to overachieve.
*Commitment to full transparency and collaborative processes where multiple touch and viewpoints go into every lead.
