At a high level, the role will be responsible for converting leads into paid projects, guiding and supporting clients throughout the conversion cycle, and interacting with them via email, phone, Skype, and other channels. We are looking for a someone with a flair for communication and who is a self-starter excited about defining, developing, owning, and executing a plan that delivers on our aggressive growth targets.

Roles and responsibilities
• Manage and meet expectations of our clients - Understand the client’s requirements and push the process forward so that the client finds and hires the expert they need
• Follow up on leads and work towards converting those leads into paying projects to meet conversion targets and other KPIs
• Successfully position and communicate our unique capabilities to prospects and clients
• Smartly manage priorities to ensure the entire conversion cycle moves smoothly and follow-ups are done in a timely but agile manner
• Maintain a robust opportunity pipeline, including qualifying, validating, and assessing opportunities with new leads, and ensure that clients stay engaged throughout and do not become non-responsive
• Stay updated on the latest trends in the industry and develop a knowledge base, with a view to be able to provide the right expertise to clients
• Collaborate with other parts of the company, particularly marketing and technology to generate and manage conversions and opportunities

• BA/BS degree required, preferably with a science background
• Experience in scientifically related sales or B2B customer service a plus
• Strong verbal and written communications skills; able to communicate persuasively and effectively
• Impeccable written and verbal English skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in an unstructured environment and build up efficiencies over time
• Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities
• Proactive and Independent decision maker - can answer complex questions, anticipate issues users might raise
• Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities
