Business Development Team Leader at Innovative Scale-Up

We’ve been featured by the BBC, FT and other national press, and have won lots of awards, including Smarta 100 and Santander Breakthrough 50. You’ll work in a small, close-knit team with the founders, in a fast paced, fun and innovative environment.


We are looking for a team leader to both sell our service and manage our small, growing BD team.

You will be selling LaundryRepublic’s award-winning service to Property Managers across London, and responsible for the entire sales process i.e. lead generation, qualifying, contacting, meeting clients and launching ourservice!

As Team Leader, you will be responsible for training, development and management of the sales team. Helping create processes and structures to improve conversion rate and increase sales and company growth rate.

- Identifying relevant property managers, developers, residential and commercial buildings who would benefit from LaundryRepublic’s unique dry cleaning solution
- Outbound calls and emails to secure meetings with decision makers
- Preparing presentations for meetings
- Travelling across London, pitching to Property Managers and Concierge teams
- Closing the deal
- Launching LaundryRepublic’s service in the building
- Keeping your clients happy and growing your accounts!

As team leader the BD executives will report to you and you will be:
- Conducting weekly 121 reviews, ongoing mentoring and coaching, and formal training for the team
- Working closely with the Founders to create processes and structure to ensure success
- Reporting on sales forecasts and team KPIs regularly to Founders
- Providing regular coaching, motivation and support to the team to achieve goals


Previous Experience: Business Development or account management is required. No industry experience is required, but would be helpful. we’ll provide full training.

Previous Experience
- 2 years in a Business Development and/or Account Management role
- At least 1 year managing or mentoring within the sales team
- Face to face sales experience
- Bonus if you have experience selling to property managers

- Working directly with co-founders to shape BD strategy

Competitive based on experience. Commission and additional performance bonus, and potential for rapid progression of total compensation
