Built with the needs of nurses and healthcare providers at the forefront, Florence is a marketplace that cuts out the middleman and empowers healthcare managers to find the right staff with the right skills at the right time. Florence is currently used by the largest providers in the UK independent care sector and has 1,000 fully vetted nurses performing over 10,000 hours of work per week.

We are looking for a talented and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team and help build Florence's client base across the North West. The successful candidate will be based in the North West but will be expected to travel regularly to the Head Office in London with occasional overnight stay.

*Main tasks and responsibilities*
* Taking ownership over you own portfolio of clients and being responsible for building the volume of transactions within the platform
* Generating leads and managing the whole sales process from identification to closing the sale with a strong focus on Customer Success and ongoing account management
* Uncovering, identifying and closing business over the phone and face to face with Care Home Managers, Owners, HR, Finance and Operations Professionals
* Attending training sessions with nursing home managers and administrators to demonstrate Florence
* Liaising with the nurse-side Customer Success Team to ensure adequate matching of supply and demand in your region
* Using feedback from frontline users to guide product development

* Minimum of two years experience with a proven track record in a field based sales role
* Full UK Drivers Licence
* Must be able to work independently and proactively
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Must be a relationship builder, networker and team player
* Must be able to handle high workloads and prioritise tasks
* Experience within the healthcare sector or start up environment preferable
