About the role

Reporting directly to the Test Manager, you’ll use your knowledge of testing to help our Professional Services team deliver an amazing experience to our customers, and have a huge impact on the quality of Poq’s rapidly growing platform. This would be an ideal job for someone technically minded, customer focussed who is passionate about apps and mobile technology.

What you’ll be doing

• Take ownership of app testing and work with tech team to identify high-impact issues
• Manual testing for new features, designs and releases as well as exploratory testing to ensure our platform remains at a high standard.
• File bugs, and communicate with the team about issues
• Write and execute test scripts and test instructions
• Advise on testing improvements and assist with the roll out of automation testing
• Interact with users to prioritize inbound bug reports and reproduce reported issues

What we're looking for

• 2 years mobile app testing experience
• Test automation experience
• Use of API testing tools such as Postman and Charles
• Professional mobile QA/Testing experience
• General facility with technology, able to learn new technologies quickly
• Device agnostic – knows the iOS and Android expect behaviour and differences
• Writing automated tests to mobile products
• Working with an automation framework
• Highly detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment to quality and a positive, collaborative attitude and approach to testing
• Extremely self-motivated; able to work independently to identify opportunities for improvement
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing atmosphere
