We’re on the hunt for for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Bristol. If you’re the type of person who will stop at nothing to delight our customers, who’ll happily put in the extra hours to succeed and wants to progress quickly within a company, we want to hear from you.

You’ll work alongside our superstar Sales Team predominantly as a Business Developer, hunting down new leads, nurturing them and playing a crucial role in the growth of our company.

We’re fast growing and we’re hungry, but we’re also really, really nice. Some may say we’re not your typical company- so we’re not looking for your typical sales person.

*Quick-thinking*: You’re able to really listen to our potential customers and provide a tailored pitch to them based on their needs. You’ll never bore them with unnecessary details, but instead always think on your feet to ensure they get all the information they need to prove that Lavanda is a great choice for them.

*Personable*: You like people and people like you. You’re just as comfortable on the phone as you are face to face and have an exceptionally warm writing style. You have the ability to build an instant rapport both internally and externally and appreciate that you’re a front-line ambassador for the Lavanda brand at all times.

*Successful*: You’ll have a proven track record in business development and can easily demonstrate how you’ve made a positive contribution to organisations in the past. Your reputation is important to you and you want to align yourself with a brand that is as driven as you are.

*Knowledgeable*: You understand the market in which we operate, you’re ready to champion the Lavanda brand and already know why Lavanda stands out from the competition. Industry knowledge is desirable, but not essential.

*Experienced*: You appreciate what startup life is all about and just can’t get enough of it. You’ve been involved with early-stage startups before and know the highs and lows of helping a business mature.

*Fun*: You want to join a group of like-minded people who would actually choose to be friends with the people they work with. Yes, we really exist!


* You hold a good degree (2:1 or above) from a top-tier university.
* You’re motivated by being a key player in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment. You’re hungry for responsibility and want to progress fast within the business.
* You are technology savvy and understand the critical role that tech plays in scaling complex operations.
* You take huge pride in how you are perceived by your colleagues and customers and are always happy to dig deep and go the extra mile whenever required. You only stop when the job is done.
* You’re passionate about the sharing economy and its potential to disrupt both the property and hospitality industries.
