Job overview / purpose:

Hotel TV Company has an excellent opportunity for a Business Administration Apprentice to join its dynamic team and build upon future opportunities within a specialist and growing business.

The successful applicant must be a team player who can equally work on their own initiative.

Crucially, the company are looking for a suitable candidate who is not afraid to voice their ideas and opinions, and someone who is not afraid to pick up the phone.

In weekly staff meetings, all staff members are expected to contribute, so the company are looking for a well-spoken, confident individual with excellent communication skills.

This is a city-based role with travel costs for apprenticeship training purposes.

Based upon progression, there is the opportunity for a pay review after 3 months.

Main responsibilities: [will include but not be limited do]

The company is looking for a results driven individual to be responsible for general office duties. The role will include:

Producing Sales Invoices and Producing Purchase Invoices Updating CRM with all customer contact details and potential deals as well as keeping notes on dialogue Deal with support call issues from existing customers as and when necessary - This will mean taking down details, and directing the customer to the correct department Using initiative Matching sales to purchases, to then calculate profit made on sales Keeping all sales recorded on a monthly basis Bank reconciliation Chasing suppliers and chasing payments General book-keeping duties Work alongside the Sales Team and Marketing Team helping them with administration Filing, scanning all paper work and saving to the relevant files Any other business related duties

Excellent attention to detail, ability to retain high levels of concentration Good organisational skills / keeping track of data Must be able to type to a proficient level and be computer literate Excellent communication skills Strong customer focus Self-motivated & quick learning Flexible & enthusiastic team member Capable of taking initiative and developing solutions

Desired qualification requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject, plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above.

Working week:

5 days per week,

Monday-Friday,

9am-5pm,

35 hours per week, [all details will be confirmed with the employer]

Salary:

£129.50 per week
