Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading dementia charity. We provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia. 

Position: Media Officer 
Location: Crutched Friars, London, EC3N 2AE 
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 per week (plus out of hours on-call availability) 
Salary: £32,908 actual per annum 

Closing date: 5pm on Thursday 8th November

Have you got what it takes to build on our success so far? We are looking for a dynamic and creative media officer to join our award-winning team. The successful candidate will work in our busy national office in central London, helping to build a high and positive media profile for the Society. 

About you: 

You will specialise in fundraising and engagement and be responsible for devising and executing media strategies and campaigns that promote Alzheimer’s Society fundraising activities, services and community engagement work including our growing social action movements - Dementia Friends and Dementia Friendly Communities. 

You will possess a great news sense and a flair for placing stories. You must have experience of working with the national media, excellent communication skills, the ability to plan and the desire to work in a fast-paced team committed to making a difference.
