About the role
We have fantastic opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join us as part of our busy head office team in Manchester. Initially on a fixed term contract the position is likely to become permanent as our business continues to grow.
Working as part of a team you will be responsible for inputting and coding invoices, reconciling supplier statements, bacs payment runs and dealing with any enquiries via email or phone. The role requires someone who is analytical with a high attention to detail and is able to use their initiative and make independent decisions.
You will have some experience gained from within a similar role and have a knowledge of accounting and IT systems as well as enjoying working as a part of a team. Experience of using Kerridge and working within the automotive industry is advantageous though not essential although you must be comfortable with excel. A willingness to learn and the ability to influence and build relationships with a variety of people whilst demonstrating our core values with both colleagues and customers alike is also key to this role.
