Job Details:

Job overview / purpose:

We are looking for a finance assistant to be part of our fun IT Support company/office.

You’ll receive some training in a variety of other areas such as, day-to-day running of the office (basic office management, basic HR, and basic marketing).

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to specialise in accounting, as well as enjoy the additional training and variety unique to this position.

Main responsibilities: [will include but not be limited do]

Finance duties – the main part of your role:

Bank reconciliation Setting invoices to be approved Procurement – working with IT Prepping payroll and expenses Reporting on P&L VAT Liaising with IT and customers Invoicing Liaising with our accountants

Office duties [potentially 20% of your role]:

Basic HR preparation Holiday approvals Google AdWords (opportunity to get Google certification for this as Google is a numbers and statistics driven) Basic marketing General office admin work

Desired qualification requirements:

3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject, plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above.

Working week:

5 days per week,

Monday-Friday,

Salary:

£180 per week

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
