PMLD TA - Croydon - Education and Training

This PMLD School are looking for experienced PMLD TA to work on a long term contract until July 2019 in Croydon. The idea is the PMLD TA role will then become permanent.

The recruitment drives for November 2018 PMLD TA roles are well underway, the specialist provision I'm working with in Croydon wants to get their SEN Teaching Assistant roster set in place ASAP. Primarily, so they get the best people they can and can start your Education and Training.

This school are looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to become a permanent member of the staff team after a successful summer term. This can be treated as a trial to make sure the job is right for you and you are the right fit for the pupils and school.

This school has 2 sites in Croydon, a KS1/2 site and a KS3 site. As a committed and driven successful SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working across both sites (which are easily accessible). The pupils have a range of SEN including MLD, SLD and PMLD therefore previous experience working with children with these needs is preferred.

The school is based in Islington and is very easy to get to via public transport which makes life easier.

Experience can be from a mainstream or even outside of a SEN school environment. The post is to start in September on a fixed term contract with a view to becoming a permanent member of in January. Salary initially will be on a daily basis of £70- £75 depending on experience with the SEN points and competitive salary available from January. The school and I are looking for a committed, energetic individual who will be proactive and dedicated to the role.
