Cara is a gorgeous and placid 9-month-old who loves being in the water, listening to music and everything sensory. Cara has a rare genetic condition which presents with developmental delay and low muscle tone. She will need support with all her baby care needs and the usual nursery duties.

This is an exciting position for a confident and pro-active SEN nanny to become fully engaged in Cara’s early development. The role will involve supporting Cara with her therapy sessions, physio integrated play and taking her to lots of associated classes and baby groups. Your role will include attending hospital appointments, researching activities and bringing new ideas to the table, whilst using a fun and creative approach. You’ll promote Cara’s all-round development and well-being and assist with her therapies, goals and developmental milestones.

This job will suit someone who has excellent experience working with babies and has an active, confident and engaging approach; Cara needs lots of stimulation. The family are looking for at least a two-year commitment; consistency is important.

This is wonderful opportunity to join a family who are at the beginning of their journey so it is a role where you can really make a positive impact whilst developing your own skills. There are fantastic learning opportunities as you will be working closely with an array therapists. Flexibility to travel with the family on holidays would be advantageous. Please apply with your CV and supporting statement.
