We have a great opportunity at HMYOI Wetherby to join the Novus team as the Head of Education on a permanent, full time (37 Hours) Basis.

The purpose of this role is to lead a curriculum and support team to deliver services that maximise access to education, opportunity and achievement for all Young People to enhance their employment or further education upon release.

HMYOI Wetherby in West Yorkshire, is a custodial establishment for Young People, aged between the ages of 15 and 18. There are currently around 280 young people in the YOI with an operational capacity of 320. All young people work towards English and Maths qualifications, as well as ICT, PSD, and vocational pathways which include construction, creative arts, hospitality and catering, business administration, industrial cleaning and horticulture. We also offer an Advice and Guidance service which helps our young people with post release opportunities.

We'll need you to strategically plan for the development of the provision to ensure it meets contractual, quality and financial targets.
